Shadow Puppets + Stage Workshop

Join Teaching Artist and Storyteller Victoria Reeves for this hands-on workshop! Learn how to make your own Shadow Puppets + Stage using recycled materials. Afterwards we will create stories using our puppets. Please bring a flashlight or similar portable light source.

No experience necessary - open to everyone.

Each participant will receive a shoe box, parchment paper, cardboard pieces, and wood skewers. Markers, tape, hole punchers and scissors will also be provided. Watch the videos on this page to witness this wonderful and fun workshop!

AUDIENCE:

One audience is children 6-10 yrs old when accompanied by a caregiver. Another audience is children | teens 11-18 years old.

FEES:

This class involves extensive preparation. Fee includes prep, supplies + a 90, hands-on minute class with detailed instruction. Each participant will make + take home two shadow puppets and decorate one stage.

Up to 10 participants = $250

Up to 20 participants = $350

EASY TO HOST:

Tables and chairs needed. No AV. Each child receives supplies and group instruction.
